The Hong Kong Film Panorama, the film festival that tours Europe every year at the initiative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels, will be held in Athens for the first time in February. After Lisbon last October, this is the second new city on the Panorama's European itinerary this season. The event will be held at the Greek Film Archive. Sixty-three pieces from Hong Kong’s Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware and its remarkable K.S. Lo collection are on show at the Mariemont Museum in Belgium until 21 February 2010. The exhibition, “Tea though the ages – the history of an art of living” is being held within the framework of the Europalia art festival and is sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels. It was opened on 13 November by the Deputy Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union, Ms Wong Yuet-wah. The Hong Kong Film Panorama is being held at the Amsterdam Film Museum for the 6th time. The Panorama presents a selection of Hong Kong’s latest films and tours Europe every year at the initiative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels (HKETO, Brussels). Over 70 guests attended the opening reception on 13 January, and over 140 viewed one of the two opening night films. More info Hong Kong e-News - 8 January 2010
