Hong Kong Film festival in Thessaloniki - 25-28 September 2016After the success of last year's Hong Kong Martial Arts Film programme in Thessaloniki, HKETO, Brussels is cooperating with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival once again to bring Hong Kong films to Greece's biggest second city. A Taste of Hong Kong in Brussels - 16-17-18 September 2016So you think there's nothing in common between Brussels and Hong Kong? Think again. Hong Kong Arts Centre and Les Halles de Schaerbeek have curated a creative project in which ten artists from each city have worked in pairs: choreographers, dancers, video and film makers, visual artists, actors... They will present ten short pieces, and in between each, there will be gastronomic intermissions by chef George Tang. More info.
5th International Dublin Dragon Boat Regatta - 10-11 Sept 2016The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels is delighted to be a sponsor of the International Dublin Dragon Boat Regatta this year for the first time. Chief Executive expresses deepest sympathy for victims of terrorist attack in Nice - 15 July 2016Hong Kong's Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Nice, France. He expressed his deepest sympathies on the loss of lives and injuries and extended his condolences to the families of the victims. Earlier, Hong Kong's Financial Secretary, Mr John Tsang, had attended the French National Day reception.

Hong Kong designers at Paris Fashion Week - 1-6 March 2016Eight Hong Kong fashion brands will show their collections at the Paris Autumn-Winter 2016 Fashion Week. A runway show will take place at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts on 1 March, and the collections can be seen in the showroom from 4 to 6 March. More info.
Financial Secretary unveils 2016-17 Budget - 24 February 2016Hong Kong's Financial Secretary John Tsang presented the 2016-17 Budget to the Legislative Council on Wednesday 24 February. He said Hong Kong would have to seize new development opportunities arising from a new economic order that is driven by breakthroughs in information technology and the increasing role of emerging markets in the global economy.
