COVID-19: MEASURES RAMPED UP FOR TRAVELLERS FROM HIGH-RISK PLACES
Inbound travellers who are travelling to Hong Kong from specified very high-risk places must provide a negative result proof of a nucleic acid test for COVID-19 test result in English or Chinese (which has been done and obtained within 72 hours of the scheduled time of departure of the aircraft), issued by a laboratory or healthcare institution which is ISO 15189 accredited or is recognised or approved by the relevant authority of the local government, before boarding their flight to Hong Kong.
The relevant traveller also needs to provide confirmation in English or Chinese of a room reservation for compulsory quarantine in a designated quarantine hotel in Hong Kong for not less than 21 days starting on the day of the arrival in Hong Kong of the relevant traveller.
Currently, non-Hong Kong residents coming from overseas countries and regions by plane will be denied entry to Hong Kong due to the pandemic

From 00:00hrs on 23 January 2021, the measure will apply to all persons who have stayed in Ireland for more than two hours on the day of boarding or during the 21 days before that day.
