It is supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London and the newly-established Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Berlin. The reorganisation enhances the coordination and effectiveness of the operations of the economic and trade offices of Hong Kong in Europe.
Currently, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels covers 15 European countries (in alphabetical order) :
We arrange senior officials' visits to the countries under our purview to facilitate high-level exchanges between Hong Kong and these countries.
We also organise trade and investment promotion seminars, and cultural and networking events such as films festivals and Chinese New Year celebrations. Our objective is to promote Hong Kong's gateway position to our contacts in the political, commercial and media sectors.
