Nine Hong Kong films at BIFFF and 20 years of HK cinema at PointCulture ULB Ixelles - April 2017

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels, is delighted to support the Brussels International Fantastic Festival (BIFFF) which will take place at Bozar on 4-16 April 2017.  BIFFF will screen nine Hong Kong films, most of them as a European or Belgian première.

The Mermaid by Stephen Chow on Wednesday 12 April 2017 at 20:30 (Belgian première and International Competition)

Vampire Cleanup Department, by Pak Wing Yan, on Thursday 13 April at 14:00 (European première)

Call of Heroes, by Benny Chan, on Friday 14 April at 14:00

Kung Fu Yoga, by Stanley Tong, on Friday 14 April at 20:30 (Belgian première) - The Director of Kung Fu Yoga, Mr Stanley Tong, will be in Brussels to present his film and answer questions from the audience.

"Hong Kong fait son cinéma" at PointCulture ULB Ixelles

PointCulture ULB Ixelles is cooperating with BIFFF to present 20 years of Hong Kong cinema.  Every Wednesday lunchtime from 12:30 to 13:30 the team of PointCulture ULB Ixelles will take you on a journey of discovery with trailers of Hong Kong films, in a cozy atmosphere where music, tea and coffee are also on the programme.

A selection of DVDs of films of the last 20 years will be available at PointCulture ULB Ixelles until 22 April 2017.
